Location:
Egypt
Project Type:
Sea Water Desalination Plant
Scope:
Engineering, Procurement and Construction
Seawater Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) desalination plant with a treatment capacity of 800 m³/h, designed to produce desalinated water, demineralized water, and potable water for industrial and utility applications. The system is based on high-performance DuPont RO membranes, ensuring high salt rejection, stable permeate quality, and reliable long-term operation.
The SWRO system is engineered for continuous operation under varying seawater conditions, incorporating optimized pretreatment, controlled process parameters, and robust system design to maximize efficiency and membrane lifespan.

The SWRO system includes a complete treatment chain: seawater intake, pretreatment, high-pressure RO units, and post-treatment systems. Advanced DuPont membrane technology ensures effective removal of dissolved salts and contaminants, providing consistent water quality across all product streams.
The process design incorporates energy-efficient operation, precise control of pressure and flow, and protection of membrane elements. Automated control systems ensure stable performance, operational flexibility, and minimized downtime during maintenance or load variations.
